Covid-19 has fundamentally altered all of our lives in many ways – including the way we receive healthcare. To limit the spread of the virus, many healthcare institutions and doctors’ offices have turned to telemedicine as a way to continue to provide care to their patients during the pandemic.

As we navigate this new “normal”, you may be asking yourself, “Is telemedicine safe? Is it effective? How are physicians reacting to this trend? How does it affect me personally?”

Dr. Edmund Lew and Dr. Matthew Lew, family medicine physicians at Adventist Health Glendale, are two of the many physicians who have transitioned successfully to telemedicine. They will join us for a special webinar presentation where they will discuss telemedicine and its effect on both patients and physicians, as well as answer your burning questions about this important topic.

Our Wednesday webinars will now occur on the first Wednesday of every month, which means our next webinar will be on Wednesday, September 2. In the meantime, let us know if there are any topics that you would like to see us cover by emailing us at AHGLFoundation@ah.org.
